[He'll stand there and let Ryoji poke and prod until his curiosity is satisfied, though, holding his wings still so he can get a good look.]

[The shift is not very exciting, truthfully. First it's Ryoji there, then there's a creature over twice his size that looks, well, exactly like Thanatos. When he speaks the voice sounds otherworldly.]

[It's a little confusing to see Ryoji turn into something Akira had seen as one of Minato's Personas before, but he can ask about it later. For now he turns and jumps from the window, and with a powerful beat of his wings, takes to the air. Mid-flight it becomes obvious his lower half has become demonic, too, and he's sprouted a tail as well.
He spies the rooftop of a nearby office building just past the residential district. He climbs the air to gain more altitude, then, checking Ryoji is following after, then lands on the roof. There's no one else around, and no other buildings overlooking them.]

It doesn't look like he stays very long in that form, already reverted back to Ryoji, but at this height, he doesn't think many people would notice them anyway.]
Do you use the tail to balance yourself?
[Why are his questions so dumb.]

I don't really think about it, but... I guess so?
[He looks behind him. That is what tails are for, but with a body that technically isn't his, a lot of this is just instinctive and unconscious.]

So were you born that way? You can change between human and demon forms?

I was just human for most of my life... Then over a year ago, a demon tried to possess me. My will was stronger, so I became a Devilman.

[He had no idea you could merge devils and humans together and yet it feels like it's one of those 'makes sense' kinda things if he thinks a little about it...demons do have emotions as well, don't they?]

[And it's more like Akira wound up possessing Amon, with how things turned out. To demonstrate that, Akira's body shifts and changes again, growing in height and muscle mass, fur and claws, until there's a towering demon standing before Ryoji.]
Even though I have this form, my heart's still human. That's why I didn't tell you I was a Devilman.
[He wanted to be judged for being himself, not for being bad or evil for having the appearance of a demon.]

[Not that the world he 'lived' in was altogether different due to the demons that existed there. It was just that those situations happened a lot less frequently.]
It's okay. I can see why you avoided to tell me, but it explains why you disappeared during the moons...I'm the opposite. While I have a human body thanks to Minato, I'm still Death no matter what form I take.
