The former ruler of Sanguis moon received this picture and called it "junk mail." 8 days later Sanguis moon became uninhabitable. A man received this picture and immediately sent out copies, then received good fortune for an entire year, including winning a jackpot lottery. Copy, paste, and send this to 9 people or you will be cursed. Don't take any chances. Sanguis did, and now no one can live there.

I cannot tell how this particular one was made, and I admit that altering probability on such a large scale for an entire year would take a magician of immense ingenuity and power, but embedding a spell into a replicable image is certainly possible!

Besides, look what happened to Sanguis...
wearingguess: (but i've told her that)

Seriously!

Although

Now that you mention it

I do not detect any magic in this image...

However, that could just be further evidence of the caster's tremendous skill!

Well, magic is simply the art of calling upon the rukh to transform and control phenomena of various kinds... be they forces, substances, apparitions, or reactions... so in that sense, there is no limit whatsoever as to how magic might work, or what it could accomplish...
